Join us for Reason to Hope - Reminder to RSVP

Joan Has Reason to Hope.

Join us for an inspirational breakfast.
Thursday, June 16th
9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
at NOAH's Event Venue
8200 Norton Pkwy, Mentor, Ohio 44060

Despite an Alzheimer's disease diagnosis at the age of 62, Joan Uronis finds every reason to live a fulfilling life.

As a member of the Alzheimer's Association National Board of Directors and the Early-Stage Advisory Group, Joan is actively involved in supporting and advocating for others like her.

Please join us and Joan for a one-hour breakfast event to learn more about the Alzheimer's Association and our efforts to support local families as well as advance research. While there is no cost to attend, attendees will be asked at the end of the breakfast to support the Association with a gift in the amount that is meaningful to them. You will leave with a lasting impression of the vital work we do on behalf of those we serve.

The end of Alzheimer's starts with me
Let's Talk About Stigma
and why we need to
change our thinking about
Alzheimer's disease.

Join Martha Sajatovic, MD, Director, Neurological and Behavioral Outcomes Center and Director of Geropsychiatry Program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center for a presentation on dementia-related stigma and what it means for people with the diagnosis and their families.

The Annual Meeting is also the time when we recognize our outstanding volunteers.

ABOUT US

The Alzheimer's Association is the largest voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.

The Cleveland Area Chapter serves Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties with offices in Avon, Beachwood and Mentor. The Association's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The disease currently affects more than five million American adults and is the 6th leading cause of death in the country. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's.
