Last reminder: Upgrade to enhanced campaigns

Hello,

This is a final reminder to upgrade to AdWords enhanced campaigns by July 22, 2013. At that time, we'll begin to upgrade campaigns automatically. Upgrade now to ensure your campaigns get configured exactly as you'd like, and to begin taking advantage of the new powerful bidding tools, smarter ads and extensions, and reporting features.

About enhanced campaigns

In February 2013, we announced improvements to AdWords called enhanced campaigns. Today's consumers are constantly connected and using many different devices, so we've developed enhanced campaigns to help you reach them more easily and effectively. Starting on July 22nd, only enhanced campaigns can be created in AdWords and all remaining legacy campaigns will be upgraded.

Upgrade quickly and easily

Use the AdWords upgrade center, which takes you step-by-step through the process of upgrading one or multiple campaigns.

Default upgrade path

We strongly encourage you to upgrade all campaigns before July 22, 2013 so that they're set up as you'd like. If you don't, then the AdWords system will upgrade them using the following default settings.

Your new enhanced campaigns will be configured to reach customers across all devices, carriers and operating systems. Enhanced campaigns require a mobile bid adjustment setting, which influences your bids, ad position, and click volume on mobile devices. You're free to change your default mobile bid adjustment and all other campaign settings after a campaign is automatically upgraded.

In campaigns that were previously targeting all devices, your mobile bid adjustment will be set based on bids from similar advertisers.

We're here to help you

We want you to be successful with AdWords, so please contact us if you'd like any assistance with upgrading. For more details, tips and resources on succeeding with enhanced campaigns, please check out our help center articles and enhanced campaigns website.

Sincerely,
